Life expectancy can vary...it depends on the fish that eat and attack the bait...but with mend-it glue...baits can last a long, long time...matt lures is probably one of the tougher baits out there as it is. I still have my original baits that are a few years old and they still catch fish. But can you put a price on catching that Trophy fish? Or that one that puts you over the top in a tourney? If you keep up the maintenance on a swimbait they can last quite a long time. meaning, looking for small tears gluing weak spots.

For me I use 20lb Maxima and it has never let me down.

A glue I use exclusivly now is mend it.

It keeps the bait soft...stay away from the super glues..they harden the baits...i ruined many a baits with this stuff.

Be careful...it's addicting
