Ya it is...my opinion, not worth it...there are other baits with close to the same action for alot less....going to test some alternatives. but some guys will always want the original as a proven bait, can't blame the thinking. but looking at the bait, its not much to look at, the paint schemes are very simple....each is handmade, but one of the great features is the hardware that holds the hooks, they have built in swivels...with all the being said....it shows fish key in not on color/paint of the bait, but size, action and bait profile.

yeah, some people always stick with the originals like the hudd, basstrix, and senko that have been copied

The Cardiff 300 for smaller baits to medium sizes baits...with 15-20 lb test, they run for a $100.00. You can probably find one on ebay or the classifieds for less for new and used. I'm intrigued by the Bass Pro Shops Nitro which is going for $119.00 right now. An exellent reel is the Quantum Cabo PT 30, it runs for $160.00 for larger baits.

if i am going to get a cardiff, i am probably going to get in in the 400 model.

I dont know were you get your stuff, but i buy my stuff at fish 'n fools in granada hills
