For the Angler who wants it all..Lowrance has a new high-tech product out there that includes a HDS High-Definition Multifunction Chartplotter with Built-in Broadband Sounder, but wait there's more..."Lowrance HDS features award-winning Lowrance Broadband Sounder technology integration, the most extensive mapping options on the market, support for Navionics’ full line of cartography, advanced LED backlighting, soft-keys and unique FlyWheelTM operation on select models, and an intuitive new user interface. HDS also offers users maximum expansion options including SIRIUS® weather and satellite radio capabilities; turnkey radar support; cost-effective fuel, engine and boat-operations management solutions; and proprietary buddy-tracking functionality."

I tend to always fall for the products with more features, sometimes thats good and sometimes bad. Just wondering what thoughts or opinions anyone has about this new system that has everything you need and then some...

Read more about it and watch a video. Lowrance HDS High Definition System.

Lowrance's High-Definition Systems

Sounds like the best feature is the high speed reading... question is have they really figured out how to get good readings at high speeds. The maps are cool looking, but how accurate are they really?

Anyone out there seen one of these yet? Interested to see what everyone thinks.
