Frank (Ukey28) and I hit Chaumont Bay last Saturday... not giants, but tons of chunky 3-4 lbs bass (both largemouth and smallmouth). They were all over the Keitech Model 1 jig in black! Bass were found in hardspots with mixed sized rocks along weed edges. We caught too many bass to count.

This was the most interesting three days of fishing I have had in years. To hit a huge body of water like Chaumont Bay and get on fish like we did was fantastic. I have never seen such stocky chunky fish like these were. I can't wait to go back when the water levels are normal, there wasn't a dock anywhere near the water it was so low. But I will say this. If it wasn't for Brendan, the trip wouold not have been at all successful! Thanks for a great trip!
