Rock Island Conservation Club

Post by dansfishntales »

I know the Rock Island Conservation Club isn't a bass club, but thought I would let everyone in the Iowa/Illinois border area know that the organization has openings for membership. Several years ago there was a waiting list.
There are two lakes with concrete boat ramps, and one walk-in pond.
My largest bass was around 8 pounds, but we've had reports of largemouth up to 10 and wipers up to 13. There are also walleye (may largest has been 7), catfish, crappie and bluegill. Oh yes, we have carp, gar and dogfish if interested
Membership cost is $45 dollars per year for a family, with a senior discount of $35 per year for anyone 65 or older.
If interested call 309-787-4770, or go online at http://www.riccinfo.org.

Best of fishing,
Dan
