Congrats Brendan on the Hopatcong victory! I spent a lot of time there when I was a kid.

My uncle had a shoreline lake house and also a nice 16 ft. Chris Craft wooden boat with a 25hp Evinrude engine back in the fifties.

The good old days

To hear some of the locals talk Geo, the fishing is as good if not better now then in the 60's and 70's!

It's hard to tell how big that fish is with Mike holding it. The perspective gets skewed. Mike is a really big guy! That fish may be bigger than Brendan!!

Thanks Frank and Geo...

LOL - Yes, we should be holding those fish closer to the body! Guilty as charged...

Everything came on the Keitech Model 1 Jig... Black on Black with Craw Trailer.

Mike's lunker weighed 6 lbs, 15.5 oz. (Nearly 7 Pounds) a real slob.

The second place team of Skip and Mitch had a 6+ lbs kicker in their bag also... that place is kicking out some big fish for sure.

Sorry for the laggy responses... I've been fishing tournaments, you know how that goes.
