7 lbs 2 oz Largemouth - Long Island

Here's a Long Island Hawg Caught on a Top Water bait (jitter bug to be exact). The bass was weighed on a certified scale at 7 lbs, 2 oz.

Hot Dang Brendan!!! That is an awesome top water bass.... and on a jitter bug no less.

Must have been like a freight train when she broke on the lure... I can just imagine what a rush of adrenaline that must have been!!

To be honest Geo, the hit was so quiet I was expecting a smaller fish... except that the rod doubled over! It was a bit nerv racking when she finally go beside the boat, because it was still dark out when I caught her...
