This is without a doubt my personal best in NY. As a tournament angler with a lot of experience estimating fish within ounces, there was no doubt that this bass would have weighed in at 8.5 lbs or better. I have had several over 6 lbs and a few over 7 lbs that were weighed on certified scales... my previous best was 7lbs 11oz... this one eclipsed them all! Only wish I was able to get it to a scale...

That bass was caught on Long Island (NY) and she fell for an inline spinnerbait. Little bait, big fish...
