How many have tried snake lures???
I'm glad you guys like the website...
One last thing about those snakes... like Johnnie said “it is a good idea when fishing top water to not set the hook until you feel the fish”. In addition, most of the snake lures are like a Texas rigged worm, so you can them on semi-slack or even slack line and allow the bass to swim away with the snake in its mouth before setting the hook. Bass tend to drop a lure when they feel resistance. Top waters with exposed hooks do not require the same amount of slack because the bass tend to hook themselves as they pull away. If you give them time to grab and reposition the snake, you will increase your hook up ratio.
