Johnnie,

You're killing me... that is too funny... I am crazy enough to jump in after a fish, so when I first read your post, I was taking you serious for a minute...

Thanks for the laugh!!!

Well guys I have learned alot right here on this one. This is great.

I lost some nice fish last year because I had my drag locked down using super line (Fireline) the line broke at the knot and it didn't dawn on me it was locked down till it happened the second time. Alot of the way I set mine depends on the fishing situation. If I am fishing heavy cover or docks I lock it down and try to get the fish headed toward the boat and open water and then I can use the free spool from there. The main thing is getting them away from a wrap-up.

If I'm fishing open water or cranks I like to losen the drag and play the fish because there is nothing for them to get caught up in.

I am still learning alot about the sissy fishing of finess tactics. (just a joke about the sissy stuff) Actually I am using it more and more each time I go out. This time of year its seams to be working a little better.

Thanks for all the great info
Conley
