Just fished a bass tournament on the Braden river reservoir and caught the fish on Junebug trickworms Carolina rigged around the aerators. Also caught some fishing the pad fields. Fish were biting between 8 and 11 AM around the aerators. The pad bite was good until 2 PM. Got 2nd place at 11 and some change.
Apac lake is hot right now. The water temp has been cooling off very slightly and the fish can be found near underwater timber at the drops from 12 feet to 25 feet. Carolina Junebug trickworms are the ticket. In about a month, the crankbait bite will be on and the biguns love the DT series rapala and the #9 shadrap

Thanks Brendan! Hope to post some more reports from Florida's West Coast. Not many lakes here, but the price of gas has kept me from going 100 miles to Okeechobee or Lake Kissimmee.
