8:30AM Air temp 71 degrees and water at 57. Calm and flat water conditions with medium green stain.
Windy conditions over weekend causing cloudy stain.
I've been wanting to try Roboworm's suggestion on the Flick-Shake Worm idea. Since I didn't have a Flick-Shake I thought I try rigging the worm similar with a weedless hook. Used a 5" dark purple/blue worm without any weights. Went to the swim beach area of the lake (closed for season) and threw out my line. Rate of sink is about 1 foot a second so counting to 15 I figured it had hit bottom. As soon as I stopped counting I noticed my line starting to tighten and take off toward the shore. Setting the hook I managed to bring to my fishing tube this nice 1.5lb LMB. I'm going to continue to try this method as it appears the bass aren't used to seeing this configuration.

Thanks for the report Ron.
So what I see is that you are threading the hook through the center of the worm and flylining it. Pretty neat, I'll have to give that a go.
Good tip.
Later....... geobass
