14 Huge Crappie caught on dropshot 5 curly worm

Caught at Castaic Lagoon under pier at Paradise Cove. Dropshot at end of pier. 64 degree water, green tint, 10:00AM. Largest Crappie I've ever caught. Only fish for the day.

Ya they have some nice crappie in there...surprised you only caught one...usually you can lock into a school of them.

Released?

I continued to fish the area without a bite. Surprised me as well as I've landed in schools of crappies and it gets pretty crazy for a while. Yes I released it to fight another day...
