To tell you the truth, I can't even remember the last time I tied on a Texas rig. So, I can't comment on that. When swimming a worm, I've noticed that it is more prone to twist the line. Oddly enough my old Stradic 1000FH does a better job at managing line twist than my Stradic 1000MgFB.
When split shotting or rigging it on a shakey head, I rig it so its tail is up. Because of its semi compressed tail, it just begs the fish to eat it.

Flick Shake worms are not designed to be fished with a texas rig.
