My Vote would go to the egg sinker too. I do use the bullet weight in the grass. I tryed the Lindy no snag a couple of times and liked it but the fish kept grabbing the weight so I put on a short (3 to 4 inch) leader and small worm and had two baits presented at a time and once caught two small fish at the same time.
Now I have a question for you guys. Any of you use the Bottom bouncer wire and weight combo for a carolina rig? I know alot of walleye fisherman use them to keep their baits up off the bottom. How would that work for some of the suspened bass and has anyone tried it?
Jonnie the Mojo rig is the cylinder shaped weights that you peg with the rubber band type material. Go to www.bassdozer.com and look for the articals on mojo rigs and it will show you a picture of it.
Something else I use in shallow water is the split shot rig which is just a finess type carolina rig with a french fry for a bait. I use the new water gremlin bull shot weights.
I use what they call the "weight stops". They are super small and give my rig a ultra slow fall. Comes in handy when you are having trouble finishing out a limit. (which is why I have gotten so good at it.lol)
Just a few of my Carolina rigs.

Bullet vs. Egg?
I use a bullet most often, and feel very comfortable with it. I fish around rocks with them too and find I don't get hung up much. I use egg sinkers when I run out of bullet sinkers.lol
