Help please...line selection....
Hi everyone.. i ask a question about the same topic befor but this one's diff. Ok i was wondering what type of line you guys would recomend me trying out. Its just that i used to get that remington 12lb test fishing line but that just seemed to loop on me whenever i would cast, and that realy makes me made because it does it all the time, and that is a big problom because alot of times i watch my line when i fish. So i was wondering what to look for and for what reason? What type of line to use in what conditions? and also what brand? I look forword to hearing what you guys have to say about this topic???? And one other thing that does not have anything to do with this subject. Is drop-shoting realy effective? I keep hearing about it and was cerous. Thank you guys for awnsering my Question's, I now i got alot of them. And if you could awnser most of them that i just asked, it would realy help. Thanks~~~~~ good luck on the water.

well, If you really want to effectively learn how to fish from this board, limit your questions to one topic (question) per post.
Asking like 4 or 5 questions in one post just annoys people.
As for line, get the all-purpose Stren, as it sounds like your a beginner.
I wouldn't suggest drop fishing unless your experienced with normal worm fishing. You can try it though, just have fun.

Luke first do not worry about brand names, this is not your problem. Loops in your line can be from several things.
1. how often do you change your line (change mine every other trip).
2. spinning reels (known for causing loops).
3. slack in your line while watching it (keep enough pressure to keep slack out}.
That's 3 just off the top of my head!
As for the drop shot, you can't learn how to use it unless you use it.
