Hello Team. My cousin suggested that I try soom plastic tubes and crawfish for spring. I went and picked up some from Bass Proshop. I went with the name brand Zoom, size big, hook size 3/0 or 2/0, color grn pumpkin/orange claw and pumpkin/chart claw. My cousin also recommended fishing the tube with a carolina rig. He also had a jar of somethig that looked like fish pellets that he would put up the center of the tube for those days that the fish are picky. I asked at the Bass Proshop if they had anything like that but the only thing they had was for trout or catfish and the things that fizz. All suggestion are welcome.
Thanks David

Tube Fishing
Airmayle,
Thank your cousin for us for suggesting this site.
Sounds like you made good bait selections. Most of us fish the tube either with an inserted jighead or Texas rigged. Not too much with the C-Rig. I like to add some Fish Formula Shad fish scent to the inside of the tube then put a short stub of plastic worm in the end cavity to keep the scent inside. Scent will escape through the hook holes made in the tube, and when a bass bites down on the tube and the scent gushes out into its mouth, they'll really try to kill that tube. Rattles may also be stuffed into the tube the same way. For asctive fish I like to use a trick learned from Dan Galusha, Ill. pro staff, we take a four inch segment of plastic worm and insert it into the tube, giving the tube a tail, much more lively looking bait that wayt, of course, add scent to the worm segment to enhance the smell and taste and to make insertion easier. Johnnie.
