Map Study

How much map study do you do before pre-fishing and then before the actual tournament
day?
For example, on the bigger lakes or rivers do you spend hours going over topo maps prior to pre-fishing or do you hold off any hard decisions and wait to review the map until after you've been on the water?

I'm sure that map study is done a lot on Friday nights and Saturdays, therefore the guys who might answer this post are busy?

I realize this is a difficult question to understand. That makes it a poor question in my book. Let's move on and forget this thread

I'm not a new Member, I am the same JoeM who posted this question. I was looking for a way to communicate that without causing any problems. The story is that I changed my ISP by going with Comcast's Internet Cable System. Netscape is now my provider. I had to register again with BUSA in order to post any messages.
