how can you tell what the sex of a bass is?

i Have heard about the spots on the underside of their bellies.

Well to answer your question bassrapper the bass like to stay near te shore and get the minos thats when you see they are getting ready for babys

Actually I don't think anyone but a marine biologist can tell the difference. I've even heard that bass have both sex organs until they mature and one or the other, depending on the demand by nature, takes over. Makes sense to me. I do know that when I'm fishing the small buck bass are much more plentiful than the big ole sows.There's still a lot to be learned about bass, and this site will eventually come up with somne good answers.
