Caught a Mermaid

Post by dansfishntales »

Just thought I would let everyone know that something very special, or should I say someone very special, as happened in my life. Thus, keeping me quite busy along with other things.

To make a very long storey short, after losing track of Brenda 32 years ago, I never thought I would find any like her. I was correct. Last week she found me, and we are now back together. We first met 46 years ago in the first grade. As I said it is a long event, so won't go into details.

Eveyone said I would never get married unless I caught a mermaid. This is one of the most beautiful blonde mermaids you would ever find. Now we look to the future, and hope it will not fall apart before it starts.

Perhaps I will post a photo, but for now just wanted everyone to know what has been happening.

Along with the radio show, writing, other projects, and my parents poor health this has been a big roller coaster that has been keeping me away from the site. For that I apologies, but what is worse is that I've also been being kept away from my fishing.

Best of fishing,
Dan

Dan, it's great that you've found a keeper. I have noticed you been ignoring me too after finding the mermaid!! Just kidding, wish you both happiness. Don't know if I'd post a photo though, she might gets more hits than we do. Let me know about "best man" since I AM the best man. LOL. Johnnie

Johnnie,
You will always be my best friend, and as such definitely first choice for best man.

I think you are right about her getting more hits than us if I would post a photo. A gorgeous blonde usually does. I'm still pinching myself to think this isn't a dream.

Mick Thill emailed to ask what this great looking gal would ever see in a rusty old bass angler. Not sure, but glad she has.

Scott, thanks for the congrats.

Best of fishing,
Dan
