Hi, I am relatively new to largemouth bass fishing and am seeking help in selecting lures. I own a few spinnerbaits, poppers, and a bag or two of purple worms. now i want to purchase all the basic lures for every situation I might encounter here in south florida. im probably going to spend some money but do not want to waste it on stuff i won't end up using. so I am asking advice on what i should buy to be ready for all conditions. your reccomendations on lures and colors will be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

new to fishing, filling up tackle box
hello jayson im heavey
just to let u know im 17 and have ben fishing for bass for a good 5 years i guess
ok any way the one thing that u need to remember is that the fishing lureis to catch the eye of the fisherman not the fish
just cus its the new thing or expensive or looks good TRUST me that dont mean any thing to the fish
well if u are going to get started there are diffrend baits for every thing any every one will tell u no get this this is what u need i think that people have one good lure.ex. im good at soft plasticks so i will tell u get some of thouse but that might not be youre wepon of choice
any any way color is important at times of day and season bacik colors black and bright pink
black for when it is cloudy
wait did u say black for cloudy water or sky well yes bob i did black for some reason works well at night and cloudy condishons that dont mean that u wont catch something on a chartruse bait u might but i have ben told black
and u also want to use "fish"colors in clear water like IDK umm fish colors IDK
ok on to baits wel well well
the software spinner baits i have ben told work well for like covering lots of water or a rattle trap
i like to fish worms any way possible off banks dropoffs
and so on
baits that work well spinners worms creature baits dont allways use the same thing to change from time to time if u go out one day catch a few through something else the next dayif u arernt catching any thing change
one thing that drives people nuts when they see me fish is that i change my lure A LOT sometimes one cast and back to the tackle box wow that makes people go insane but i catch all the fish if i feal like there is no way that any thing out there in the water wants to anything to do with my bait i will change right away no need to through a bait that not going to help u now is ther so i change a hole lot and if i get a bight i will stay with it and then if nothing i will change varity for me helps a lot but i shure hurts the fingers all the tying
wow i rilly got off topic i thing umm hold on
i whould haft to say it is youre choice what u get at the store but through some hulagrubs with some weighted weed les hooks i like thouse
and the choice is rilly what u are good at if u like the worms go for it there are many diffrent kinds
fire away
and when i shop i take for ever i like to look around for ever and say this looks nice i like the tail on that one
and dont skip the bargin bin
later

That's a hard one to answer. I think all of us have favorites, some guys like plastics while another likes cranks. I tell this to all new comers to bass fishing, join a club with rotating partners. You can garner a wealth of info. from so many perspectives. I'm a pretty good fisherman, but I've been out fished by 17 yr. olds and 70 yr olds, all the while learning from each one.

For most fishing applications, I recommend, small crankbaits in shad, baby bass or perch color. Senko type worms in silver flake, white or watermelon rigged wacky style. Six and eight inch plastic worms, purple, black, black/blue and punkinseed. 1/4 to 3/8th ounce buzzbaits, white/silver blades, chartreuse/ gold blades. Zara Spook, large and small, white-shad-frog . Plastic lizards-black/blue or watermelon. Bass jigs 1/4 to 1/2 ounce, black/black-blue-crawfish brown. Pork frogs- #1 & 11- brown, black, blue/black. Assorted hooks and sinker sizes. Good luck, Johnnie
