How do I use this?
I bought a ton of tackle from a guy over the net. He said that these Bronze Bullet weights with this red bead work good? I have no idea what he is talking about or how to use is lol. ANyone have any idea?

How do I use this?
Brett, most people use this with a carolina rig, the bead goes between the weight and the swivel. The idea is the brass weight and glass bead make noise, the brass makes a different sound than the lead weight normally used. A plus with the brass over the lead is the brass doesn't add any more heavy metals to the eco system, resulting in better overall health. you can also use the same setup for a texas rig as well, just eliminate the leader and put the bead between the weight and the hook. Thanks for the help I now know what ya mean. But whats texas and carolina rig? I have never understood that when people talk about rigging up sutff. Thanks

How do I use this?
Brett, a texas rig is where you put a bullet type weight on the main line and then tie on the hook, a carolina rig is where you put a larger weight (usually an egg sinker of up to an ounce or more) on the main line, next comes the bead then a barrel swivel followed by a leader of anywhere from a few inches to a few feet (depending on how high above the structure you are fishing), then the hook. That pretty much explains it, but if you have any more questions, please ask.
