tube shad question for everybody

how in the world do you rig this thing? been trying to use this lure but i can't seem to figure out how to rig it without getting it caught on everything.

rig it the same way you would a worm. Just run the hook thru one side and go thru the other, then skin hook it. Skin hooking means burying the head of the hook tip into the plastic so it's weedless. If the tube keeps sliding down, put a drop of super glue on it to maintain it's position. If you want it to float off the bottom, like in a Carolina Rig set, then cut a few squares from an old life preserver, and insert them into the tube. Good luck. Carl

I agree with the others about Texas rigging the tube shad. I push the hook point all the way through, then pull it back inside, makes hook setting a little easier. Good luck, Johnnie
