Hi Guys,
I have just entered the States for about 3 and a half weeks and staying near some lakes.
I am having a few problems, one being the lake, last year and the year before i found myself catching bass alot more than this year.
I have noticed that the lake has been treated with some sort of algue killer that has turned the lake to an inatural green murky color. Now would this be having some effect on the bass? I thought to myself that maybe the bass cant see the bait?
Also if anyone has any suggestions on what lures/worms, colors to use that would be great.
Kind Regards,
Myles.

Lake and Tackle help.
Myles, we often confront algae green water, Sometimes it works to out advantage. In most cases, the algse bloom only runs about two feet deep. Try slow rolling large spinnerbaits with shad skirts and gold baldes about four feet down. Sometimes, burn a large spinnerbait across the surface to make a wake that the fish hone in on. I like fishin' the green stuff. Good luck, Johnnie
