First welcome to the site. Have a couple of Q's for ya. You said in a post that you use powerful depth finders. Can you tell me what equipment you use? As I posted earlier, I used a drop shot rig this year to fish deep creek channels, caught alot of small ones along with some keepers, but no large bass. I use a fluorescencent/chartruse 4" culey tail. Any suggestions? Carl

Carl, Hello.. Well I use the new PinPoint 430 series graph's along with there GPS Modules and a matching Motorguide trolling motor with the transducer built into it.. No EFI with this one. They have very high res graphs, only a few that I have seen can compete with it.. They where just bought out by Motorguide.. Check them out they are great..

Next fishing creek cahnnels with a drop shot works very well down here this time of year.. We use small 3-4" trick worms in a more natural colors like Green Pumpkin, Smoke colors, ect.. The worms seem to get a better bite when it get's cold or the fish are down deep, like over 40 feet deep.. I would look at ROBO WORM, www.roboworm.com they have a great selection of baits..

You are doing the right thing now you just have to find the fish and let the bait do the rest..
