Cell Phones

I had to resign up forgot my pass trouble fixing it gave up . After making a cast sunday my cell phone in slow motion came off my hip hit the deck of the blazer and bounced 8 ft straight up in the air and 30 ft deep . just curious how many cell phones you guys have lost and what lakes they at the bottom of me 1 last year chatuge NC , 1 this year Hiawassee NC . lol

A guy I drew in a Lake Springfield bass tournament, had a cell phone in a side pocket of his cut-off jeans. We hit a big wave and his phone fell out and blew off the back deck into the water in mid-lake. When he got to the weigh in he borrowed another phone and dailed his number just to drive the fish crazy (true)
The only time I ever used a "cell" phone was when I was in jail, allowed one call. (not true) :p

Thats so funny because the first thing I did was borrow my partners cell phone to call the fish and tell them to start biting lol

Five, all went for a swim, and three hand held GPS units for a good measure.

I put that kind of stuff in a ziplock and securely stow them away now. I might be a slow learner, but I do eventually figure it out.

Lost count of how many pairs of glasses ended up in the lake for whatever reason before I learned to put a floatie on them. Prescription shades ain't cheap, prescription polorized shades are even more not-cheap.

Seems you've learned your lessons well. I have a major problem with glasses too. Can't ever find them, I need glasses to find the ones I can't find!!!

I auctually caught a cell phone. It was an expensive palm pilot one, my ratl trap sank to the bottom when my reel spooled up when I got it loose and started to retrieve my lure I knew it was covered in moss, it was even going kinda sideways. When it came up I looked at it and seen it was a cell phone palm pilot, totally shot of course.

You guys got me thinking about my cell phone. Found a floating cell phone holder to put in the boat. So if mine goes overboard now it will float instead of becoming fish cover.

NC-basser getting your phone wet will kill it too. I keep mine in the glove box on my boat, my wife once put mine in a big zip-lock bag which worked but was awlward.

I was just thinking cell phone and had to relate this tale.

I was fishing C.J. Brown reservoir in Springfield Ohio. It was a slow day I caught two little sunshine bass about a pound a piece or so.

This guy was at least 900 feet about 3 football fields away from me and it was quiet and calm. He was having an argument with a girlfriend and insulting her and cursing her, you could hear every word.

With no wind pretty much the whole lake could hear this clown in intimate detail argue with this girl for 15 minutes, then she called back and they went AT IT AGAIN for another ten minutes.

Needless to say this capped a bad day fishing and didnt help the mood. Then I am loading the boat on my trailer and a kid about 8 years old walks down with a zebco 202 combo and casts out as my wife ties the boat to the dock and catches about a 4 or 4 1/2 lb bass. " Nice smallmouth bass kid ", I said to him kinda hoping he would get finned in the thumb for his adding insult to injury.
