Skirts fall apart!!!!!

As far as cost I think it was about $7.00 per hundred for the zip ties & $5.75 for the zip tie gun. With the zip ties running horizontal they are completely weedless. I have noticed the zip tie actually flares the skirt more.

Joe,
Here is a quick solution I've used for skirts that are falling a part. I take some monofilament or braided line, tie it around the strands at the collar, use some half hitches, and place a drop or two of Carlson Fishing Glue (make sure the skirt stays out of the glue until it is dry - about 5 to 10 seconds). Bingo, it will hold for a long time, if not until you lose the lure.

I was on the Stanley Pro Staff a few years ago. I know Lonnie and John Hale, and they will listen. So if you want to get in touch please do. Lonnie had a heart attack a few years ago, and I haven't spoken to him for awhile. I would like to know how he is doing, so if you get in touch let me know. Better yet I may give him a call someday. He probably thinks something has happened to me. Lonnie is a good guy, and I think you would like speaking with him. He gave me a lot of good jig fishing tips in the past.
