I just recently purchased a 2006 Lowe 175 Stinger (Alum) with a Mercury 50HP 4 stroke....it is the modified V boat which offers great stability... large/wide front and back fishing platforms...loaded for just over $12,000 (trolling motor, fish/depth finder, and trailer)...I m new to all of this, but I am very pleased with this boat. Good luck shopping! The shopping was half the fun
