OK, I do not listen very well and things take a while to sink in. I have been told by 5 people now that I have a special invention. Can anyone rate my invention compared to others. Would it make a splash or drown at an Invention Trade Show?
There is one in Pittsburg June 7th thru 10th with a booth running @ $1,595.

Scam or Real???

You really need to talk to at least Johnnie, Craig, and Brandon. I can't even spell bussiness much less give advice. Good luck, Carl.

I've got a good lead for you. Give Les Winkleman a call. He's the outdoor writer for The Southern Illinoisan newspaper. Very approachable guy. He goes to many of the outdoor conventions. Carl PS Have you aproached Bassmaster magazine. I once ordered some tackle that Bassmaster had done a very brief article. Took almost eight weeks with an apoligy to get my order. They said they had been swamped with orders. In-Fishermen would be another one, and probably better since pan fishermen I would think would be a larger market. Networking, my friend, networking.

Got the name wrong, not Wenkleman the TV personality, But Wenkle. Just ask for the outdooor reporter. Talked to a friend of mine who is a very successful salesman. He told me that if you have a new product, you can be very successful at marketing your product if you're at an established convention. So, you need to do your homework, how many venders will be there, brand names? How many people will attend? Is it open to the public? How old is their history? If this is a convention for new products, not just fishing products, then I'd be very wary. I would think that the fishing/conventions are long over, and will not start up again until next year. Both my sources said that you may have better luck just taking out adds in the major sports magazines. The banker and the salesman said a new invention convention sounds like a waste of money. I have another source that started a Co., Cottonmouth Lures, and another that sold out to Lunker Lures. Let me know if you need more info. I will be out of town between tues. and sunday. Carl

BulBob, you already know how I feel about the BulletBobber. It's a great product, but may take awhile to get established as such. I know that there are limited funds available for marketing the product so I believe you should not do the convention. Only two things can make or break a new product-not enough money to promote and promoting against established products.
As you know I have some marketing experience and perform seminars. At every sport show or convention I have been to there are certain groups that get the high traffic areas and others that get set aside where traffic flow is lowest and your targeted clientel may never even know you are there.
I wouldn't ever consider telling you or anyone else to take a chance or not take a chance. It's your business alone! I will help you in any way you ask of course and back any decision you make. Good luck with your decision making. Johnnie

Carl / Johnnie,
The tackle trade show in Vegas is sold out and I can not attend because of a wedding.
I am looking for someone to represent me there.
Family and good friends are important.
