pond fishing live bait

when fishing an isolated pond as i described in the previous post. would it be best to trap fry from that pond or to use store bought minnows? in the past store bought minnows produce well, but in trapping i will be presenting prey that the fish are used to devouring.

I'd go with trapping the pond minnows, less chance of introducing a non desireable fish into the waters. Have fun.

Johnny, you beat me to it but I'd like to add the possibility of intrducing desease and/or bacteria that pond never had before.
