meat and potatoes lures

Post by kingfisher »

has anyone heard of the meat and potatoes lures called the "Hotback deep-diver crank" and the "termite lipless crank"? If so, what do you think about them? I was interested in buying some but don't know much about them.

THanks

Kingfisher, haven't heard of either of these baits, but for me, ANY crankbait is a meat and potato lure, they bring home the bacon. I'm fairly sure any lipped or lipless crankbait will get the job done, but will try to check out these new offerings you speak of. IO'm never too stuborn to try something new and give it a chance.
Just from looks- I wasn't impressed with the new Chatterbaits, but after trying a V&M Lightning Blade which is the same style bait, I've changed my mind. Lots of potentail for all these swimming jig-wobbling baits. Good luck, Johnnie
