Salmo lures
I was looking at some Salmo lures. Are they worth the money?

Salmo lures
Kingfisher, I checked out the Salmo lures and don't believe I would pay that much for ANY bait. While they appear to be well made and probably would produce, so would more conventional lures that are more reasonably priced. I do like to experiment with new or different products so if you decide to try them, it's okay. I once ran acrosss a new lure-at the time- a Poe's 300 Super Cedar wood bait, the firsdt time out I caught back to back 8 pound bass on it, plus 30 others. You just never know?? Good luck, keep posting. Johnnie

I think Salmo is made in Poland. They are very good quality baits and I'd put them right up there with Rapalas....the balsa ones. I have several salmo baits and they are balsa. I prfer wood over plastic because most guys don't throw it. Generally these baits cost about 5 bucks or so.

Thanks guys for the info. I just got a few hornets and sting. I'll let you know how they perform after I fish them this weekend.

Just used the hornet crankbait from Salmo. Had great success with it. They seem to have a great wiggle and vibration to get the fish's attention/bite. A++
