I would go with the 1/4 and 1/8 ounce baits in White for clear water or chartruse or both for dirty water if you can find them. Black with the yellow dots is a good all around color to use too. That was one of my first lures and its still in my tackle box today. Sure been alot of bass fall prey to the beetle spin. Thanks for bring them up. Reminds me to use them from time to time.
Thanks,

I agree completely with Conley, great little bait. I like the brown crawfish as well in any water color. With the white and chartreuse colors, I like to fish the bait just under the surface creating a little wake, sure looks like a fleeing minnow. These baits are great for bass and large crappie as well as white bass and just about anything else that swims. When conditions are really tough I use Beeetle Spins and Road Runners. Good luck and keep posting. Johnnie
