Lake Guntersville....Tips needed

Hey guys, Im going down there next May for a BBC Rally Tourney.
I really need a few tips for there, like tackle,techniques. Never been there before.
A friend of mine said frogs work pretty good. Any and all tips will be appreciated.

Sorry guy, never been down there. Carl PS. I think a friend of mine has fished it. If I remember right, he said there was alot of grass. When I see him I'll ask.

I just used GOOGLE and many Alabama sites came up. WMN.ORG/BASSFISH/REPORTS/ALABAMA/ this site has date reports and you might find some near the time you are going.
