Yep, starting Thursday the live weigh-ins will be broadcast on ESPN2:
Thursday 7-25 5PM EDT Weigh-in Day 1
Friday 7-26 5PM EDT Weigh-in Day 2
Saturday 7-27 7PM EDT Weigh-in Final
Caution on that last day time. 7PM is awful late for a Classic Weigh-in. The info comes from B.A.S.S. Times, but errors happen. If you can't be there earlier, maybe you ought to crank up your VCR just in case!
Also let's try to keep posting as information becomes available. This way we can share with everyone out there.
Let's hear from you as soon as you want to start. Remember, if you don't post you may not hear about your favorite. Talk later.

My spies tell me that Jay Yelas has over 18 lbs and Aaron Martin is 2nd with 14-01 and Davey Hite has 13 lbs.
Kevin Van Dam is........43rd!!!
Roland Martin is 35th! (Roland, this isn't Lake X!)
It isn't over until it is over, but after 2 days the field narrows to- I believe- 25 anglers. Those two fellas have a lot of climbing to do
A Federation angler Ken Christ is 4th, Gary Yamamoto is 5th and Mike Iaconelli (NJ) is 9th. Mike irritated a few people by saying a lot about Ranger Boats.
The other thing I've been told is that B.A.S.S. announced that fishing today (Thurs)
ended at 1:30PM but the live (we're told) weigh-in on TV started at 5PM. Otherwise, everyone praised the broadcast.
Stay tuned. And let's hear what you think.
Anybody out there? JoeMo

So it was ESPN and not ESPN2. Typical. But not a problem. The show was good in my estimation. But the fishermen were the whole show. Hype wasn't needed.
Consider that Jay had the biggest bass each day. (So he said) And he never looked back.
Just kept catching fish.
Larry Nixon remains a class act. Martens and Walker will have their days, too. I thought Roland did a classy thing by waving to Yelas as he took his "victory lap".
Now, back to the next tournament for all of you. Good luck. JoeMo

Ray- First, thanks for keeping me from talking only to myself. I guess not everybody enjoys watching the B.A.S.S. version of the World Series.
Aaron looks like he will be in the thick of things for years to come. Poor Bud Pruitt. Yes, even my chest hurt, looking at Bud removing the treble hook. Ouch!
Much obliged. JoeMo
