Fished a club night tournament this past sat night into sun morning. Ended up 12th place out of 18+. Found them hitting black spinnerbaits when it got windy and a green Eakins jig with a madman craw for a trailer when the wind died down. I don't remember what the guy who won it was using. We had a beautiful full moon for the night...until the clouds rolled in. Vienna Sausages for a midnight snack YUMMY. LOL. water must be down 20+ ft i sure hope we get a good snow pack this winter or this lake will go dry

HD- How many hours was this night tournament?
When did it start?

One of the amazing things about night tournaments is how cold it can get at times.
(Yet, by 6AM it was warm as toast.)

Did you try any topwaters? Interesting post. Keep 'em coming. JoeMo

The tourney started at 7pm and went to 7am. I didn't sleep at all my boater did. It really wasen't all that cold that night. I put on the gore-tex bout 1am. Buzzbait did not produce for me but my partner caught a short smallie on a Pop-R.

I figured near the Mile High City you would have "woolies" on around 2AM. I guess in August it's not that cold up your way.

Again, thanks for posting. JoeMo
