How did you finish this season
Now that the tournament season is winding down, lets take a look back and reflect on what we did. How did you fare in your events this season, what was the most important thing you learned? My two day Classic is this coming weekend, I'll respond after it is completed.

How did you finish this season
This season has been a very good one for me and my partner. We fish in a small club with about 14 guys. We have 8 qualifying events. 4 are fished with partners and 4 are draws. Either way, you weigh in with your partner. My partner and I won 5 of the 8 qualifiers. We finished second in two events and 3rd in one. Overall we won the Team Angler of the Year title by over 30lbs on second place and 30 points. I also won two of our open tournaments. One was a rookie/vet shootout and the other was the most important tournament of my career, the dreaded Memorial Event. This one I put so much time into planning it was justice that my partner and I came out on top. We have a rule in my club in effect that the prior seasons Classic Champs get to pick the lake and format of the next years Classic. We won it last season and decided to go for two lakes we've never fished as a club so it should be interesting....we also lifted the cut so everyone can participate....why not right...we are all here to fish. We take the Classic a bit less serious as all of the other tournaments. Hopefully we can finish off a dream season with a big performance in the Show!

How did you finish this season
Well the season ended for me last weedend. It end on a sour note unfortunatly. We got 79th at the Texas 100 championship. Lots of small fish just not many keepers.
The CAST championship was just about as bad. My wife kicked my you know what. She made me look bad again at this tournament. She caught most of our keepers the last day. I lost two of her keepers one I never go in the net the other jumped hit the net and the crankbait hung in the net and the fish swam off. She didn't speak to me for a few hours. Bad thing was it was about a 5 lber.
It was really quite in the boat and on the lake. lol.
Better luck next year. I guess. If she keeps fishing the way she has in the last two tournaments we should be unstopable.
Yall might have to replace me with her on the Prostaff.

How did you finish this season
Hey guys, long time no talk.
I had a reasonable season. I missed a bunch of my club tournaments because I had conflicts with BFL toureys. I finished 42nd out of 261 in the BFL Northeast Division, I missed the regional by 80 something points. The wildcard is in Alabama and my wallet said I cant go, stupid wallet. I've been on the sponsor hunt recently and thats going alright. I am in the middle of tieing up a Nitro Boats sponsorship through my dealer sponsor, what a load off my mind ya know. Good to hear everyones doing well. My club may be having a last minute charity tournament for my buddy whos son is sick. When I find out the details I'll post it here, your all welcome to come to New England and stick a few bass for a good cause.

How did you finish this season
I finished up the Fishers of Men Indiana North division in 4th overall in points. Did win the last regular season T on Morse, which was fun.
Fished the FOM Midwest Regional at Lake Erie and finished 16th, which was good enough to qualify for the National T Nov. 14th and 15th. They have not released the site yet, and will not til Oct. 27 when the rest of the regionals are finished. A good year, but not a great year overall. Really looking forward to Nationals as it should be in the deep south with a mid Nov date. Maybe Texas, LA, GA, or Floridia. Just have to wait and see.

How did you finish this season
I finished the season with 3 Wins, 3 or 4 checks for Big Bass and a lot of 2nd place finishes. At one point I was about to have a break down because I finished 2nd three tournaments in a row. At one of them I talked to the 1st, 3rd and 4th place finishers and found out that I caught more fish than all of them combined. I just couldn't get the big ones to bite and get another win.
All said and done it wasn't too bad of a season. I ended up winning Angler of the Year in one of the circuits I fish.
It's just terrible knowing that the tournament season is over here in Northern Illinois. Soon the snow will be piled high and I will be going through bass fishing withdrawls.

How did you finish this season
I'm kinda glad that the season is over. The rain that we received in Virginia finally raised the lake levels to normal, but the fish didn't cooperate. In my club, I won 4 tournaments and placed in the top 5 in the rest of them. I managed to fish some local and Federation tournaments, but nothing to brag about.
On a good note... I did finish as Mr. BASS in my club and also received Angler of the Year honors. I will be looking forward to fishing in the Virginia Federation Mr. BASS and State Team tournaments next year. I sent in my applications to fish the Citgo Bassmasters Tournament Trail next year. I will find out around the first week in November if I was chosen to participate in the tour.
To sum the year up... I had a great time on the water, I enjoyed the fellowship with the fellow anglers, I got to see and absorb the beauty that God has blessed us with, and my boat made it through the year without blowing up!!!
