Table Rock Lake Missouri

Post by Don House »

Well was able to get the boat out this weekend on T-Rock, fished the Indian creek area and Beasley Creek area, fish came on a 1/8 ounce brown and purple eakins jig tipped with a small brown craw, and also by swimming a small grub (watermelon and red flake).

All fish were on rock banks with trees with 30 - 40 feet of water. Most fish were hitting the bait on the fall in the cedar trees.. Also the pattern of finding the big shad groups is still on. Fish are still right below them on the bottom mid to back of the bigger creeks.

Started to try something new and went to jerking a stick bait on the bluff swings, not much luck, but did have a nice black swim all the way to the boat then spit it out at the boat... Good day on the water, Cold but fun!!!

Also there was a tournament this weekend on Taneycomo Lake which is the spillway side of table rock lake. This is a trout lake and full of browns and rainbows many records are set on this lake for trout, but get this it took almost 19 pound of black bass to win this tournament. Big bass was over 7 pounds!!! A new unspoken treasure in Missouri.

Good Fishing
