Fishing is getting there. Water temps up in the back of creeks and up the rivers starting to run in the mid to high 50's, found 57-58 up the King river. All of our fish came on Small Jigs and crankbaits. Jigs are 1/8 ounce all brown with craw trailer. Crankbaits are green wiggle warts.
Fishing cuts right off of the bends, also fished flats once the sun got up and started to warm water..
These fish are just about ready to go crazy.. Seen alot of clear spots in some of the shallow water areas, a good warm up and they will be moving into the beds up the rivers..
Main Lake is slow to warm, but fish are beening caught with small grubs swimming through shad schools. You find the Shad you have found the fish.
Will be taking a break for a few weeks, taking a fishing leave (Vacation) down to TABLE ROCK.
