Table Rock Lake Missouri

Post by Don House »

Hey, the rock is hot!!!!

Top water is on big time, all around Baxter,Indian Point,Dam,Long Creek. Red Fin's and Chug Bugs are working the best in the morning and right at dark. If you get a cloudy day I will not put it down..

Upper James river Jig and craw are the Bait. Fished right on the bank. We are using an Special home made Jig, Thanks to our Pro Staffer Craig "Micro Munch" (You the Man!!) Brown and Purple with a matching craws.
Swimming them right back to the boat, most are right on the bank...

Most of the fish are Spots, but there are some really nice Blacks and a alot of good Smallies.

Till next time, Good Fishing

Don, thanks for the valuable info. I am planning a trip to S.W. Mo. soon, can't wait to get back to my home lakes. Most anglers overlook purple, but it's one of my favorite colors for worms, pork frogs and even hair on in-line spinners. Johnnie
