Fished Candlewood Lake on 6/6/03. Water was 63-68 degrees,water clarity 2-8ft depending on location. Fished Howyles Cove, Echo Bay, Chatterson Pt., Little Neck Cove caught and released over 50 SMB. Also Caught a handful of LMB,lost a nice LMB 4-6 lbs and nice smallie about 18-20"s(line failure,should have checked,frayed,dumb mistake)live and learn. We fished wacky rigged Senkos and Mad Man craw tubes with Krackle inserts. Tried other lures no results. Hit one area took a dozen 16-18" SMB in less than an hour. Fished from 8:30 AM-6:30 PM. Weather was great, really and enjoyable day. Especially with this spring we have been having.
