You might think I'm nuts but aren't most bass anglers a little different? I was going through my soft plastic stick baits and on a whim I took a package of Manns Dragon baits and dumped them in a pan of boiling water. They stayed in for about 3 minutes and I removed them. They were instantly changed (softer), the fish this summer seemed to love them and held onto the baits for a long time. And no I did not tell my wife that I used one of her good pans? I used it while she was gone and hid the evidence.
Give it a try yourself!

Boiled Dragon baits!
Boiling up the plastics... Hey Butch, have you tried it with other soft plastics too? I'm just wondering if it only works well for some soft plastics and not others?
Good Man... never tell the wife you used anything in the kitchen. I think that has become grounds for divorce these days...
I always get busted using here utility scissors for cutting the weed guards and skirts on jigs... Maybe I should just invest in my own pair, eh?

Brendan;
I have not attempted to boil others yet. But with the wonderful snowy fridged winters in nortern Illinois I'll have plenty of time to try other brands. I will have timely cookouts during times my wife is on business trips.
