Hand made Crankbaits

Post by mofish »

Ok guys you know how I am about trying something new!!! If you don't know I love trying new baits!!!!

I have some Hand made Crankbaits that I recieved the other day in the mail. You should see these baits. OH MAN!!! I cant wait to get these in the water. One of them is a proto type that there is only one like and I got it.

I going to be testing these baits and let you know how they work. If they do what has been claimed that they do. I think my crankbait fishing just got CRANKED UP.

I will keep you updated and will give the address and contact of the fellow that makes these baits once I have tested these baits and they meet the high standerds of this website. I'm sure they will.

So far the baits are running great. One thing about it is the heavey wire he used on the line tie were your split ring goes, the wire is tough to bend to get the bait tuned just right, but onece you do it sure will not ever come out of tune.

The baits look like some of the old Bagley Baits except they are made of some hard wood and cast like a dream. They have been weighted and are great. I have not caught any fish on them just yet but I'm sure that is just a matter of time. I'll keep you posted with more. He is going to send me a price list and color chart when I get I will post it so you can email me if you are intrested. Ill try to get some pictures of the baits up soon as I can.

With work and prefish that I been doing its taken alot of my time away from the board. Ill try to stay up with you guys.

You better keep these crankbaits quite from Johnnie Crain. We don't call him Crankin' Crain for nothing. He loves these wiggling, diving gadgets.

These sound interesting, so will be looking forward to your results.
