New Baits

Post by JoeM »

A famous manufacturer is introducing some new baits.
The one that will spark the most press is a saltwater plug. The copy reads "Dives 50 feet on 80 lb. mono and runs true at speeds up to 10 knots"
The same manufacturer is also marketing a Rat lure utilizing a treble hook!
Any comments? JoeM

A RAT with treble hooks... Hmm, isn't that like throwing a "Little George" ino a heavy weed bed? "It just doesn't seem to work".. OK, Joe, who is it... I need to know so I can see it for myself!

Mann-ly baits they are! (Ref. this month's Fishing Tackle Retailer)
For the 50' diver (called "Giganticus G50+"- honest!!), the angler will need Indstrial Strength Velcro sewn with Spiderwire into the seat of his pants.
The treble Phat Rat has a body design that
"fits hook points to eliminate grass pickup. weight prevents rollover"
They also have a new Baby 4-. Like a Baby 1-
but dives 4 feet.
And they have a Super Finesse Worm with "unique action on fall & retrieve" To me it resembles a Senko.
Might be on their website www.mannsbait.com
I don't make the news. I only report it. JoeM
