Roadkill Camo tubes

Post by MMT »

I normally do not post info on specific baits but this color has been hot for the past several years. The company that originally manufactured the Roadkill color lost exclusivity to it. I might be able to get a bunch of these hard to come by tubes in 2.75" or 4", if you are interersted in them, contact me. Johnnie, Dan, if you haven't seen these tubes, you might want to check them out.

Road Kill... I can only imagine what they look like! Hey, if they work, who cares, right? I baught a bunch of tackle years ago from a guy who got divorced and just needed to get some extra money together. He sold everything he owned for fishing. Well, in one of the tackle boxes that I purchased, there was a package of tubes baits (don't recall the brand)but the color was called "PUKE"... and that just what it looked like...

I hope nobody is eating lunch while reading this post... if so, Sorry...

Craig, nice photo and good looking color. Let me know if you get some extra. They just might work in the Miss. river. Don't know if Dan has seen them or not, he fishes a lot of tubes.
Brendan, if puke would catch fish, I'd gag myself. LOL Johnnie

lookin' good!!!

I have never tried a tube, although I'm sure it's easy compared to worm fishing...

I'm sure if the stores are out of them, you could just get some brown tubes, then sprinkle some gluey glitter on them...gotta improvise when worse comes to worse...

Probably spraying it with a touch of silver spray paint would do the same trick...hold the can about 3 feet from it,
-fishing is fun-

Craig I had the opportunity to try this color tube this past october while fishing a tournament in Kentucky. I drew a non-boater who had a large quantity of the tubes and they worked well for him. I tried a few and I liked them as well. It was a good color for the slightly stained water we were fishing. I have tried to find the color at the various fishing shows I have worked and attended this winter and have not found them yet. I am interested in the 4", what count are you selling them and how much per count.
