Rat-L-Trap Paint job!!!

What is the deal with Bill Lewis. Why can't I get a Trap that the paint will last longer than my fishing trip. The other day, all I fished was grass (deep grass) and the paint started chipping almost immediately. I could understand it if I was fishing river rocks, but I didn't bang anything. Anybody else having problems like this? Thanks!!!

I've had a lot of problems with my favorite balsa crankbait Thundershad. For whatever reason the paint seems to start to crack after use and like you said, you don't have to hit anything. I think this is due to insufficient clear coat.
