Coffee Tubes Death by Caffine

I came across a new lure from Strike King for 2008, I have not seen this anywhere else and its called the Coffee Tube. The lure is scented with coffee bean and coffee oil, as well as salt impregnanted. As someone who is new to the world of bass fishing I am wondering if this is a gimmick or is it really something that an angler can use to be successful. I am very curious as to what everyone thinks about this new tube.

Wendy, I haven't seen these new baits yet, but tomorrow I'm dumping a few tubes into my thermos- minus the salt-wouldn't want to spoil my coffee. LOL

I haven't tried them yet...but the colors available are incredible.
