Thanks guys! I have been using the advice and my hook up ratio is through the roof, relatively speaking. If I give it a second or two, as suggested, then set the hook I get a hook set nearly every time now. I tried the weedless hooks but I lost more hook ups on them than anything else. If they don't bite just right it won't release the spring. I am catching more fish regularly now than ever before! I just wish they were all big enough to keep. It's nice to have one for lunch once in a while. It's good practice for the big boys anyway.
