hey guys, just used scent for the first time, and man, got bit all over the place. first of all, first time using a senko too. i combined to two and got some pretty good results. thanks a lot guys. got a nice striper, ill post a pic. later guys, oh and going back early tomorrow, so more bass in my near future. later. this site is awesome, and has tripled my bass intake.

I just caught a 25lbs 36" cat on nitro tournament garlic bass gravy. There is a pic of him on the site. I have caught more fish in the last two weeks thanks to this site and scents. Thanks a lot guys, and throw me on the list of wouldnt go without it.

for me it depends on the conditions/situation...if it's a reaction bite...I dont bother, if it'sslow and im working jigs and worms and they are hitting it on almost dead stick or slow crawl then i use it. i have done just as well with and with out it...i mainly use megastrike in regular, and just started with the crawdad scent.

We have been experimenting with fish scents the past two years and the hot new craze is phermones. There is a phermone based scent by Mustad called Activate that seems to be the best. There have been several studies on the role phermones play in fish behavior, and they are quite interesting. We used the Mustad Activate this past summer on jigs and 10" worms ledge fishing on Ky Lake and the results were truly astounding. We were able to determine a 4 to 1 catch ratio increase when using Activate. I know this is chemical stuff and most of the articles that were written were over my head, but the proof was in the tube, the stuff works.
