Well fishing is tuff with the cold front coming in. Caught 8 crappie and 1 bass today after school(hour and half). Haven't done much with any other bait but a jigg'n spoon. The crappie or schooling with the bass sometimes i think it's because of the shad.
The water temp. is 43 degrees. As i give this report there is snow falling and it's 22 degrees. My exams are postponed thank god. I think the fishing gonna get slower. Back when the water was 45 degrees i went out and caught 5 bass and 11 crappie after school one day. I think it will get better when the water reaches around 50 or so. Can't wait i am really tired of just sitt'n there jigg'n.
Well just thought i'd start a topic on Gaston since thats all i fish until April. I have 5 tournament in a row on Gaston. Good thing i live here . Well Enjoy!
